Hello everyone, let’s talk about binders!

Binders are such a crucial part of any detox regime. Whether you’re doing a specific protocol you found on social media, one your doctor or practitioner are assisting you with, or just going rogue – you absolutely need to utilize a binder. Why do you need a binder when you’re doing a detox protocol or cleanse? Since parasite cleanses are all the rage right now, let’s use that as an example.

What happens during a parasite cleanse? When you start to kill-off parasites, they panic and release eggs; then they explode or dissolve, which then releases all of the toxins they were holding onto (mold, heavy metals, viruses, etc). You do not want these items floating around getting reabsorbed; this is how detoxing can cause bigger issues if not done properly or how you can feel absolutely miserable while detoxing (herxheimer reaction aka die-off symptoms).

Those toxins will just redisperse throughout your body and start wreaking havoc. This is just one example, but no matter what type of protocol you’re on and no matter what you’re focus is – if you do not have a binder that is absorbing and walking those toxins out the door, you will have a herx reaction.

Another extremely important supportive item you will want to utilize during any detox protocol is a physical drainage remedy, but I’ll cover those on my next blog post.

It is important to utilize a binder that contains special ingredients to target every type of toxin. You especially want a binder to contain ingredients that support the bowels because taking activated charcoal alone can cause constipation. The whole point of using a drainage remedy and a binder is to efficiently walk the toxins out of the body so that they are not reabsorbed back into the body.
